Our Environment - The Vineyard at Lake Ohia

The present vineyard is still primarily experimental. Several grape varieties are currently grown, including red grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, Grenache and Nebbiolo, and white grapes Chardonnay (5 clones) and Viognier.

First plantings took place in 1995 and are now in production, with further are planted in 1998 and expected to start providing fruit from 2002.
